Most investors would be aware of the concept of investing in a property trust that buys retail or commercial office assets, but it struck us as strange that within Australia there were no residential property trusts that catered for a market that’s three times bigger than the ASX.
Is ResiFund ‘build to rent?’
Build to rent to rent means acquiring a property with the purpose of building and development and then renting the entire development out rather than selling it. So ResiFund is really a portfolio of rental properties, and we aim to buy properties that are already rented out or ready to be rented out.
